Western District
Freemasons
Est.
1932
Western District covers around 60,000 square miles across the lakes and the trees of the boreal forest on the great Canadian Shield. Freemason Lodges are located in some of the larger of the far flung communities including; Kenora, Dryden, Fort Frances, Sioux Lookout, Red Lake, Emo, Rainy River and Atikokan.
We embrace the remoteness and rugged beauty of Northwestern Ontario. While Masons meet in the lodge in formal black tie attire, we happily change into our outdoors wear to enjoy the fishing, hunting, hiking and other awesome activities that define our wilderness District.

The travel distances are relatively lengthy between our lodges. As such, there have been instances where Brethren have hired aircraft to visit on important evenings!
